This notice explains how MicrobiomeGlobal handles personal information when you visit microbiomeglobal.com, place an order, or contact us. It distinguishes website ordering from the laboratory process and the consultation offered with the service.

Who we are
Dieta Formanatura SRL, trading as MicrobiomeGlobal, is responsible for personal data processed for this website and its ordering and customer-support activities. Our registered address is Strada Cimitirului 49, Bodoc, 527035, Romania. Contact us about privacy at info@microbiomeglobal.com. We coordinate sales and delivery with Mikrobiom Központ, which works with its laboratory partners. We do not perform laboratory sequencing or analysis. Consultations are provided through our employed nutritionists or collaborating doctors.
Ordering, laboratory services and consultations
The website supports ordering, payment, delivery coordination and customer support. Laboratory questionnaires, sample processing and results are handled separately through the service partner’s laboratory arrangements, including biomeresults.com. The customer receives the report directly and provides it to their chosen consultant for the consultation. Reports are not delivered to MicrobiomeGlobal through this website. Please review the laboratory platform’s privacy information before submitting data there.
Information used by the website
We process names, email addresses, telephone numbers, delivery addresses, country, city, region and postal code; order identifiers, dates, products, amounts, currency and payment status; payment references, refunds and dispute information; referral codes when used; and messages you send us. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser information and access logs. Billing information is collected by Stripe during checkout.
Health information and reports
The website does not ask for health questionnaires, medical histories, stool-sample details, sequencing data, reports or consultation notes, and has no report-upload or results-portal facility. Please do not send these through the contact form or general support email. A customer may separately share a report and relevant information directly with a nutritionist or doctor for their consultation. That consultation involves health information and is distinct from ordinary website ordering. Under our current consultation process, reports are used during the consultation and are not retained afterwards; consultation notes are not kept. Please agree a suitable way to share your report directly with the consultant before providing it. Do not send a child’s health information through website support. If you send sensitive information to support inadvertently, contact us so that we can address its handling.
Purposes and legal bases
We use order and delivery information to take steps you request before a purchase and to perform the order contract. We keep relevant business records to meet applicable accounting, tax and other legal obligations. We use support information to respond to contractual requests or, for general inquiries, for our legitimate interest in answering customers. Limited technical information supports our legitimate interests in operating, securing and troubleshooting the website and preventing fraud. Referral attribution supports our legitimate interest in administering commercial partnerships, subject to applicable rules for storing information on your device. These ordinary website purposes do not establish a legal basis for processing consultation health information. We do not use website data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Payments
Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout. We do not store full payment-card numbers or CVC/CVV codes on our servers. We receive payment references, amounts, currency and payment, refund or dispute status for order administration and recordkeeping. Who receives information
We share information necessary for fulfillment with Mikrobiom Központ and the delivery providers involved in an order, whether dispatch is arranged by the partner or by us. This may include name, contact details, shipping address, order reference and payment confirmation. Our technical providers include Vercel, Render, MongoDB Atlas, Zoho Mail for website hosting, backend services, database storage and email. Stripe handles payments. Authorized personnel and technical support providers may access information as needed for their work. Accountants, advisers and public authorities may receive information where necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Laboratory platforms and consultants
Laboratory questionnaires and reports are handled outside this website. The laboratory platform and relevant providers explain their processing in their own privacy information. The customer supplies their report directly to the nutritionist or doctor for advice. Under our current arrangements, neither MicrobiomeGlobal nor its consultants retain the report after the consultation or keep consultation notes. The laboratory platform has its own separate retention practices. If our consultation recordkeeping practices change, we will update the privacy information and inform affected customers before introducing the change.
Processing outside the European Economic Area
Some of our hosting, payment, database, email and support providers operate internationally, and information may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Applicable data-protection requirements govern such transfers, including the use of an appropriate transfer mechanism where required. Contact us for information about the providers, processing locations and safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention
We retain order and payment records for the applicable accounting and tax recordkeeping obligations and, where necessary, outstanding disputes or legal claims. Delivery information is retained for fulfillment, delivery queries and related recordkeeping needs. Support correspondence is retained while addressing the inquiry and for relevant follow-up or disputes. Referral records are retained as needed to reconcile attribution and associated business records. Technical logs are governed by operational and security needs and the relevant provider’s settings. We assess retention by purpose, legal requirements, unresolved issues and whether identification remains necessary; information should not be retained indefinitely merely because storage is available. Cookies and browser storage
The website uses browser storage to remember a language setting and, when a referral link is used, a referral code. The referral code has a 30-day validity period and is checked when it is read; expired entries are removed when checked. Language preferences remain until browser storage is cleared or overwritten. You can remove this information through your browser’s site-data settings or remove a saved referral code during checkout. The website does not currently include advertising or audience-analytics tools. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send requests to info@microbiomeglobal.com. We may need proportionate information to verify identity. You can complain to a competent data-protection authority, including Romania’s ANSPDCP at https://www.dataprotection.ro/.
Orders for children
A parent or legal guardian may place an order for a child. The adult should use their own contact details for ordering and must have the authority to act for the child. Laboratory participation and consultation are subject to the relevant provider’s suitability, authorization and consent requirements. Do not submit a child’s report, medical history or questionnaire answers through this website’s contact form.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access restrictions and technical measures to protect website order and contact information. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it for their work. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Personal-data incidents are addressed in accordance with applicable notification and response requirements.
Delivery destinations
We serve Romania and selected European Union destinations, subject to delivery availability, sample-return arrangements and the service partner’s ability to support the destination. We do not currently offer delivery to the United States. A destination appearing in checkout does not establish that every laboratory or sample-return arrangement is available there. Contact us before ordering to a destination where arrangements have not yet been confirmed.
